326 E-Velo

The time has come for another build. The main purpose of this build is to create a YouTube video series and to create a set of plans to build this very velomobile! It will also make running errands around town a whole lot more fun.
The inspiration for this build comes from the ELF and PEBL velomobiles. I love that those machines can carry passengers, have great road presence and are extremely practical for everyday use.
I want to try and ensure that this vehicle is easily maintained, and that means making a shell that is either easily removable, or has access panels to all critical components so that fixing a flat or derailleur adjustments are semi straightforward.
Planned Features:
- Steel frame
- Coroplast & aluminum fairing
- 1200 Watts of Electric Assist via hub motor
- 1 Rider, 1 Passenger
- 3X 26" Wheels (Hence the name 326): Rear 26 x 4.0", Fronts 26 x 3.0"
- Upright seating position, tall enough for confident road presence
- Central lighting system with integrated turn signals
- Parking brake
- Easy entry/exit
- Ample ground clearance
